Greetings,

Google has access to a lot of commonly used datasets in Google Public Data Explorer, like that of Statistics Canada, the World Bank and the OECD.
These datasets are usually freely available on their respective web sites, but it can be a hassle to download them and even more, to keep them up-to-date.
Since these datasets are pretty up-to-date on Google Public Data Explorer, I think it would be a great feature to make them directly accessible in Google Cloud SQL.

Imagine never having to download another public dataset and always having the latest version of data. Amazon doesn't yet offer this Data-as-a-service (Daas) option for its cloud databases and it would be a great interoperability of Google's offerings.
It would be a great feature for anybody who works with data a lot.

Thank you for your time,
Etienne
