Are you still experiencing the issue? Can you elaborate on this and provide me with errors messages that you can see on both GAE and Cloud SQL logs?

Its been 8 hours, and my stack driver sending emails for errors in our application. And suddenly, we are seeing my SQL queries are taking 10 secs for the single query in many of the requests. Because of this, my AppEngine requests are getting timeouts and we see deadline exceeding. Then following few requests are also failing because of deadline requests.

We are using Cloud SQL 2nd generation and it's a production app. Request to have a look ASAP.
