Re: [google-cloud-sql-discuss] Postgres Support

Hi Patrick,
I'm sorry to say that I have to give you the standard "we don't discuss any unannounced features." I realize this is frustrating, but do know we have heard you and I've noted down your idea.

Sorry I can't offer more! Google Cloud Platform do offer a couple one-click deployments of Postgres from our partners. The EnterpriseDB offering is supported by EnterpriseDB, but it won't be a managed service quite like Cloud SQL. Hopefully one of those options will help.

Hello, I am currently running an app with Cloud SQL V1, but due to some changes in architecture we are moving to Postgres for the updated application. Are there any plans to support Postgres in your SQL offerings similar to AWS RDS?

I'd really like to stick with Google as it has been working well for us, that said having a managed DB is of top priority.

Thanks,

Patrick
