There is already a Feature Request for timescaledb which has been reported several times by many users and our product team is aware of it. Going forward, I will suggest you to keep track of the Public Issue Tracker for any updates.  Google discussion post isn't the right place to file a Feature Request, being the forum meant for the general discussion of the platform [1][2].
