Re: [google-cloud-sql-discuss] 500 when creating a postgres instance

From https://cloud.google.com/sql/docs/postgres/faq#reuse

If I delete my instance, can I reuse the instance name?

Yes, but not right away. The instance name is unavailable for up to a week before it can be reused.

Subject: [google-cloud-sql-discuss] 500 when creating a postgres instance

I keep receiving 500 when creating a database that was previously deleted.

The parameters are exactly the same: name, region, size, type, etc.

It does work with another name, so I believe it must be due to some background service thinking the old instance still exists.

I will retry tomorrow to see what happens.
