[google-cloud-sql-discuss] Mysql server running in read only mode?

Hi,

all of a sudden 1 of our 3 pods connected to a cloud sql 2nd gen instance started to fail with some (not all) sql updates. The log was showing:

2016-08-31 12:26:39,815 [SimpleAsyncTaskExecutor-1] WARN  org.hibernate.util.JDBCExceptionReporter  - SQL Error: 1290, SQLState: HY000
2016-08-31 12:26:39,815 [SimpleAsyncTaskExecutor-1] ERROR org.hibernate.util.JDBCExceptionReporter  - The MySQL server is running with the --read-only option so it cannot execute this statement

Our cloud sql is definitely not running in read only mode. After delete the pod (and it started up again on another node) the issue went away, but I am concerned this will happen again. Any clues to why?

Br,
Anders
