Re: Could not connect with SQuirreL SQL Client

Solved.

Thanks for your reply!

Oauth2 already authenticated my computer to connect to cloud SQL.

When testing or connecting to the database, I supplied my gmail username and password.
By right, need not to because I did not define any database user.

Thanks! It works fine now.

Are you running Squirrel from the same Linux/Windows account as the command line tool? This is important because the oauth2 token is shared.

Also: the instance name you indicate doesn't seem to exists.

Dear all,

do we need to authorize SQL Squirrel before a success connection?

When using command line, was able to log in and also can pump in sql statements with expected results.

However, still cannot connect using squirrel sql.

my instance name is xxx-xxx-xxx:yyyuudata

Thanks!

have changed Value field of instance which was gmailcom:myinstance.xyz
to myinstance.xyz (remove gmailcom:) .
