[google-cloud-sql-discuss] Re: Accessing an old account

Hello Diane,

Please accept our deepest condolences for your family's loss. As for trying to access Google Cloud platform Console, a user is only offered a "free trial" to test the platform when only attempting access for the first time. Thus, this is usually an indicator that there are/were no existing Google Cloud Platform access for the same email account.

Since you mentioned documents and files, it is possible that they could have been saved either on Google Drive or Google Docs (click the links for access).

Furthermore, if you are inquiring about recovering an account (email) [email that you have no access to]  that is associated with Google Cloud Platform, you would have to fill and submit this form for approval. Note that you will also need to get a court order issued in the United States (Google will provide the necessary language for the order). I hope this helps.

Hi guys, hoping someone can help. My husband had a google cloud account that I think he opened in 2010. I think that's where he stored all my documents and files. Unfortunately he died last October and I'm not a great techy. When I open Google Cloud with his gmail account it offers a free trial etc, but I can't find any existing files. Does anyone know how to recover an old account? Thank you, Diane
