Hi brian, 

I am receiving this same error message months later. Is it possible my app engine app is not connected properly?

It depends. Some such errors are caused by e.g. intermittent connection errors between your browser and our servers, and we don't even know about those, less have the ability to look into them (the error message is a trifle misleading in this case). For the remainder, we look at errors on aggregate - so if what you're seeing is happening to enough people, we'll notice and investigate.

That said, if you're running through a specific set of steps and repeatably seeing an error message, do let us know over here (with as much of a detailed description as you can), and we'll look into it.
