I don't see anything related to cloud-sql in here. I do notice all of the requests that caused a deadlineexceedederror are loading requests.

Maybe those are doing too much work?

I restarted the instance in the API console, that seemed to help.  Is there any explanation for this behavior/something to do to prevent it?
